In the last trading session, the U.S. stocks were mixed. Mixed earnings, especially weak reports from bellwethers in the technology spaces, and no major swing in the oil price regulated market sentiments. Among the top ETFs, investors saw SPY remain flat, DIA add over 0.1% and QQQ move lower by over 1.5% on the day. Two more specialized ETFs are worth noting in particular though as both saw trading volume that was far outside of normal. In fact, in the most recent trading session, both these funds experienced volume levels that were more than double their average. This could make these ETFs ones to watch out for in the days ahead to see if this trend of extra interest continues: IGOV: Volume 3.31 times average This international Treasury bond ETF was in focus on Friday as roughly 343,875 shares moved hands compared to an average of roughly 103,890 shares. We also saw some share price movement as shares of IGOV lost about 0.9%. The movement can largely be credited to a return of risk appetite in the market and the tick-up in the Treasury bond yields which in turn lowered the bond price. In the last one-month period, IGOV was up about 0.5%. DSLV: Volume 3.23 times average This inverse leveraged (3x) silver ETF was under the microscope on Friday as nearly 153,000 shares moved hands. This compares with an average trading volume of 47, 380 shares and came as DSLV gained about 1% in the session. The movement was prompted as silver prices took a beating in the key trading session after the greenback rose. In the last one-month period, DSLV was down 30.5%.
