The company repurchased 8.921 million shares of its common stock at a cost of $621 million during the quarter. At March 31, 2016, HCA had approximately $1.983 billion remaining under the existing $3 billion authorization.Major Factors: Same facility equivalent admissions increased 3.1%, while same facility admissions increased 1.6% in the quarter.
